CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

The project objective is to reconstruct the bulkhead from Bay 165 to Bay 177 (approx. 1,440 lineal feet) on the south bulkhead area where Seaboard operates.  Scope of work also include the demolition and construction of a new bulkhead, installation of tie-rods, anchor wall, addition of new bollards, demolition and construction of new water stations, installation of new fenders, demolition of the existing RORO platform and related services.

With the installation of the tie-rods and anchor wall, the apron pavement will be partially removed.  There is a series of existing drainage inlets along the apron, and possible other stormwater management features in the area, which will need to be analysed and modified as required to allow the positive drainage of the area upon completion of the improvements

This project included:

  • Review and Coordination of existing Storm water Management and Water Utilities.
  • Preparation of Basis of Design, including design calculations and technical specifications.
  • Engineering Drawings and Construction documents for Stormwater Management Improvements and water station modifications, including the development of a stormwater pollution prevention plan.
  • Bid Phase Support Services.
  • Construction Support Services and Engineering during Construction.
  • Topographic Survey of the project area
